Dale The Angry Basketball Player
Last Summer I shot this film with a small crew on a couple of summer days. It's the story of this guy Dale who lost his brother in a tragic accident which has driven a wedge between Dale and his parents who blame him. He also blames himself and often vents by obsessive bouts of cleaning and working out. He also gets really pissed of when his girlfriend calls and asks him about his appointments. It's funny that he and I have the same name. Ultimately Dale and his Father meet after years of avoiding each other. Sadly I hurt my right leg in an undisclosed basketball accident at 4:15pm Dec. 14 2013 so the footage in the film is the last time I was able to run and jump like a young man. Now I walk like an old groundskeeper. I hope you enjoy the film which was written and Directed by Max Milner who has sent me a script for a romantic dramady yes dramady....I know it's crazy right? Joshua Lustig was the director of photography. Assistant Director David Law who has a style all his own was always quick with a joke to keep things loose. An entire bathroom was destroyed in the making of this film. Enjoy.

The Lonely Pirate
If your looking ahead you will never get behind. For me this has been a great year so far and it only seems to be getting better. I have a few new philosophies that I wanted to share with you. Currently I have this motto "Live as is you are already dead." It does sound sad but it gives you liberation from the dangerous confines of self doubt and fear. It's not healthy to go through life afraid of what is around the corner. Adapt and overcome. Mostly been writing songs lately gearing up to start doing open Mic's again. Music and writing kind of took a backseat when I started pursuing acting and working more. It feels good to be back. I have realized that I embody the image of a lit candle that lights other candles.
and now a short poem about mirrors
mirror mirror so crystal clear
you see it all but cannot hear
to see the world but hear no sound
like glass breaking on the ground
i saw a mirror get broken once
this guy had bad luck for six months
the many mirrors in your vanity
will lead to years of insanity
Also here is a video I did a couple of months back as a joke. It was actually filmed in my laundry room and one of my neighbors walked in on us during the shoot. Enjoy.

Do The Things That Make You Great
Been thinking a lot lately about where life is going. Somebody told me that when your young you have health and time but no money, In middle age you have money and health but you have no time, finally when you are old you have lost your health but have plenty of time and money. What is worth the most to you? I woke up early this morning about 5AM and felt the need to go outside.
I went out to the patio in the back of my apartment and laid on the cold concrete in the light of the sun watching a few morning clouds pass by. A bit cliche I guess but the neighbors probably thought it was funny. Eventually I got up and decided not to go back to sleep but to actually put some hours into my real life. Because when I was down there on the ground I could feel the world on my back. I could see infinitely into the sky. The whole Health, Money, Time thing is wrong in my opinion you can have all three. In fact you already do because they are all actually the same thing, they are manifestations of your energy.
![]() |
| The people you meet live on in your heart forever for your heart is your soul |
The question is who does your energy belong to? Don't let it fall into the wrong hands. My advice is to spend your time wisely and spend it on the only person that really matters in this life, yourself. I'm not saying be selfish I'm just saying that you need to make yourself a priority and stop letting other people control your life. It's yours go out and get it. I'm saying this as much to myself right now as I am to you.
This is our wake up call. Stop talking about it and start doing it. Be ambitious. Think of failure as an achievement. Spend your time cultivating the skills and crafts that make you the best you. "Simply the best... Better than all the rest." When it's all said and done you want to be able to look back on your life and know that you did the best you could. I have been looking for inspiration and today I literally found it on the ground. You never know where opportunities will present themselves. Stay thirsty my friends.

The Clean Teens
My Friends and I used to hold an annual carwash to benefit ourselves. It was a wonderful time to be a teenager. There were six of us Bill, Brad, Bryan, Todd and Tim. We called ourselves the "The Clean Teens."
People in our town would pull up with frowns and pull out with a clean car and a smile. Seeing them smile made me feel a genuine sense of happiness and accomplishment. We spent all day in the sun with the radio turned all the way up. To me it seems like "Just What I Needed" By The Cars was the only song that was ever playing. Whenever I hear that song it brings me back to those long, hot, summer days full of laughter and hosing down cars with the guys.
We probably should have been trying to score with the girls but with a nickname like "The Clean Teens" none of them wanted to talk to us. It was cool though we had other stuff to do like go to the auto zone and pick up new soaps and scrub brushes for our annual car wash. Another funny thing is that it was always called the Annual Car Wash even though it lasted the whole length of the summer.
Hahaha.
We sure used to have us a good laugh about that. "First annual, second annual how many more would there be?
We made it all the way to the fourth annual when tragedy struck. Bill and Brad got dropped off by Bryan's Mom at the usual gas station. But Todd and Tim were getting a ride from Todd's Grandpa who has a hard time driving as it is but things got worse when he had a hard attack and swerved into oncoming traffic. They were hit head on Killing Todd and His Grandpa and sending Tim to the Hospital for the rest of his life. I suppose it was the saddest day of my life. It ended our annual car wash business for good and slowly we went our separate ways.
Bill and Brad moved to Denver and cooked up a really great recipe for Green Chili that they ended up selling to a chain restaurant. Bryan moved to Ohio with a girl he fell in love with. I stayed here and opened my own gas station called "The Cleaning Station" and guess what? It has a car wash.
Every couple of months I go to visit Tim at the Hospital. He's in a vegetative state but I still talk to him. I tell him about the other guys and how things are going for me. I hope he can hear me. It breaks my heart to see my friend this way. He was so strong and it was all taken away for no reason.
Pulling out of the hospital parking lot I turn on the radio to take my mind off things. But it's no use. I'm about halfway home driving the old Lot we used to hold our annual car wash at. When Suddenly "Just what I Needed" starts to play and it gets me. I turn onto my street as the song finishes and slowly, silently I begin to cry.
When I get out of the car I stare up at the moon and stars. Closing my sad eyes I can remember the last time we were all together at the carwash for the last time. I see all of us laughing after Tim and Todd poured a whole bucket of suds on Brad's sister Stacy.
A broad smile seems to banish all feelings of sorrow. As if there is nothing else but the memories of better times. I have to hold onto them.
Because it is the best days that make the worst days tolerable. Before going inside I speak out loud to Todd hoping that he can hear me. I tell him how much I miss him and how I hope his grandpa is doing alright up there. I wait a little while hoping for a response.
I'm about to call it a night and as I open the door I hear it. Very softly as if floating on the easy wind I hear it. Almost a faint whisper that most people would miss. It's Todds voice "Clean Teens...Forever."

Snakes and Kittens Poem
Much
has been written about a sweet little kitten
A
glove and a mitten for fingers to fit in
So
good for the getting for goodness sake
I
brought my own pet a long white snake
Careful
young cat don’t let the him provoke you
He’ll
slink and He’ll slither and slide
up to choke you
So
don’t play with snakes stick to chickens and goats
But
make no mistake the snake can still hope
Of
a poke and a stroke till your innards are broke
Then
I play with my snake and start doing coke

The French Connection
Upon waking up I decided to eat a lot of vitamins, some leftover pizza from last night and a warm bottle of Perrier. It all tasted delicious until I barfed everywhere and felt the wrath of Khan.
Afterward I enjoyed a piping hot shower courtesy of peoples gas and my Brother Dane who paid the gas bill.
Prior to Dane moving in my other rommate Jon and I suffered for two months at the evil hands of the Mr. Freeze. We learned how to overcome the struggles of a daily cold shower. Ice Cold.
After a cold shower I always felt like an extreme bad ass. When I boarded the Red line on my way to work I would look at other guys who had presume ably taken hot showers. I would look at these men and think that they were all weak. Weak inept fools who had the luxury of a nice hot shower. I wanted to follow one of them to work and kick open the door to their office and steal their lunch money. I was turning into a crazed beast because of the cold showers. But now we take hot showers as well. How Embarrassing. I am also a big fan of what I was told is called a Swedish shower where as you alternate between extreme heat and cold throughout the duration of the shower. Pick your poison ladies and gentlemen. In other news I took out all of my old journals that date back to 2004. I flipped through a lot of them and spent a few hours laughing out loud at my own retardedness. Reading gave way to a thirst for fresh air and coffee. I took a long walk around the neighborhood before retiring to the Starbucks on Fullerton. Walking around with my backpack on I am still young enough to pose as a college student. Ha ha. Isn't that so funny? When I got to Starbucks I ordered a coffee sat down and this great french music started playing and reminded me of that scene in Inglorious Basterds where Shoshanna is drinking reading and smoking cigarettes while similar music plays. I love that movie.

Broke at Starbucks
I stayed up late to contemplate
I woke up early about seven thirty
Took a shower got dressed in a hurry
Berserk at work cuz I just get dirty
Why do we worry when we scurry
Like Tim to the Currie IT can get scary
You can get lost it can get blurry
You can be the frost or you can be the flurry
Forecast for rain showers and a chance of fury
He he here were go circle like cheerio
Flip like rey mysterio
I scream but you don't hear me though
I own a sound proof mouth and some tear away features
Eyes and nose fake ears oh jeepers
I woke up duct taped to a duck in a truck
I grabbed a stick to escape but got stuck
Oh shucks

Epic North American Poem
When my last
day on earth arrives
I’ll kiss the sun and make it rise
I’ll Drink the Ocean and Paint the skies
I’ll think emotion and feel wise
Used to life but meet demise
I’ll never have to say goodbye
You’ll never hurt and never cry
Your heart disappeared your tears are dry
Don’t slouch or frown or even sigh
Just understand and listen why
The soul I have just isn’t my
It’s yours and thiers and
every I
Spirits soaring flying high
Worth more than you could ever buy
Don’t waste your life forever thrive
Grow every day you stay alive
How many years you may survive
On terms of yours that you decide
Feelings you know but can’t describe
In you I live on and we’ll never die
Its you and us and every I
The soul is we remember me

Blogging Depression
![]() |
| No Pants, No Problem |
Hey guys. My friend Greg got on my case about not putting up any new posts for awhile, sorry about that. I was writing a lot in January and had my Google AdSense going strong earning a little money here and there for my humble blog but then it happened. The dark side of the force tempted me and I lost my innocence in a evil plot of greed and corruption. Needless to say my Google AdSense account has since been disabled to do fraudulent clicking by a number of parties.
To whom it may concern....I'm Sorry. I just owe so much money to Sally May and the Government for my foolish College Education. I wanted to make some extra money and my friends and family were all very quick to try to help my new enterprise. I feel like AnakinSkywalker at the end of "Revenge of the Sith" or Seth at the end of "Boiler Room" Until now I have been unable to motivate myself to put up anything new in the blogging department. I'm glad that whole period of grieving is over and now I'm ready to get back on the grind. It's good to be back. Greg if your reading, thanks for the motivation it means a lot. You can be certain that I will be posting more often in the month of March.
